Alicia Stephens is the Executive Director for the Partnership.
She came to the position with many years of economic development
experience. Prior to her move to the Liberty area position,
Stephens was the Program Director for the Platte County Economic Development
Council. Alicia's foremost personal goal
is to serve the greater community through her professional, civic
and personal encounters.
Alicia brings to the organization, skills in program development. While at the Platte County EDC, she developed several programs including
its Business Outreach program, the Northland School to Career Partnership (a grant funded
program) and the incubation of a Convention & Visitors Bureau
now administered by the Platte County Visitors Bureau.
Alicia's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in
Business Management from Park University. She
is a graduate of the Economic Development Institute and has achieved certification as an economic development professional.
She is a member of the
International Economic Development Council, KCCREW, the
International Council of Shopping Centers and the Missouri Economic Development Council.
She and her
husband, Richard, have two grown sons; one is a Conservation Agent
for the Missouri Department of Conservation and the other is a physical
therapist in Colorado.

Nikki Chambers is the William Jewel lCollege intern for the fall semester. She is a senior at WJC. Her major is Organizational Communication with a minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership. Nikki plays tennis for William Jewell and has also worked on the Hilltop Monitor staff. Nikki says her perfect job after graduation would be a career that involves a lot of writing, interaction with people, and helping others succeed. She plans to continue her education with a master in sports administration and education. |
